I have one concern over the current charter of the new TC in that it
suggests that one of the main purposes is to produce "successor versions" to
the DSS documents.

I would suggest that the main aim of the new TC is to produce new profiles
and just maintain the existing specifications (through the errata
mechanism).  Not to issue new versions unless it later becomes clear that
this is necessary.

I attach a proposed revision to the ToR.
