mm1: David, this is the schema we started with to apply the changes. So 
can you be more specific about the changes you believe are missing?

These effect binary collaboration and being able to correctly
use join / fork / transition / decision / success / failure / BTA and CA
in combinations.
 
The way you have the schema will simply not work as it attempts
to enforces a strict sequence for these.  Using schema you cannot
enforce such sequencing rules (eg 1 of X, but not Y, but Z, but not W, 
etc).
