The six UMM transaction patterns are also used in ebBP.
Can anyone help me with a definition of "pre-editor context validation"?

I've posted on ebXML-Dev and sent email to Christian Huemer and Birgit
Hofreiter, but not heard back.

You may want to contact Christian Huemer (University of Vienna) who with
Birgit Hofreiter (and others) has published at least four papers containing
the subject/topic in question. He is currently the Vice Chair of CEFACT's
TMG.
