Subject: ebBP 12/13/2006: Review Sought on OASIS Submission Draft
As we discussed in Tuesday's call, the TC wishes to provide a submission
to the OASIS Symposium, "eBusiness and Open Standards: Understanding the
Facts, Fiction, and Future". The call for participation details the
scope of the event and submissions [1]:
1. Analysis and current state of eBusiness or eGovernment
2. Deploying or operating in eBusiness or eGovernment
3. Major functional requirements and are they fulfilled?
4. The new technology environment and its impact on eBusiness or
eGovernment
Touching on 1. and 2, I've uploaded the first draft of the abstract
submission required (of at least 1000 words). It is only a rough draft
called with this simple outline:
* Summarizes current state of global domain for eBusiness
* Overviews business process efforts relevant in a global domain
* Contrasts benefits and challenges of eBusiness process standardization
* Provides a brief assessment of progress focused on eBusiness domain
Please provide feedback please by 10 a.m. PT, Friday, 15 December 2006
so I can complete the submission. Remember this is a rough draft.
Editors welcome! Thanks.
