Subject: Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server at www.freenode.org alairc.freenode.org
Hi ebXML contributors In the last ebxml-bpTC phone conference there was a question about finding an IRC server. There is an IRC server at irc.freenode.org which is mainly used for "free software", "open source" and "peer-directed projects". Maybe "open standards" can have a place on freenode.org? I did check with Freenode and got a positive answer from Rob Leving, Executive Director, Peer-Directed Projects Center. Rob Leving thinks that "open standards" is definitely a topic for freenodes irc network. Someone "senior" of an ebXML TC might check with Rob Leving for any further Freenode - OASIS contacts. In the meantime I opened an #ebxml channel on irc.freenode.org and am logged on with the nick SachaS or SachaAway respectively. Kind regards.
