ebxml-msg message

was there additional clarification on this issue? Maybe I missed some email
exchanges but i dont recall seeing any.

the URL referenced has the following (or similar) verbage from almost all the
contributors... "will grant to any party a royalty-free license on other reasonable
and non-discriminatory terms"

so does that mean...

1. every implementors of ebXML messaging MUST request and obtain licenses from each of
   the 11 contributors (Ariba, Commerce One, Compaq, DevelopMentor, HP, IBM, IONA, Lotus,
   Microsoft, SAP and UserLand)

2. given the "royalty-free or on other reasonable and non-discriminatory terms" statement,
   some implementors may have to pay royalty and other won't.
