Subject: F2F in San Diego
Dear all: I have provisionally booked a (free) meeting room for the
Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning at the OASIS Symposium in San Diego,
in case we have enough people to have, at the very least, an informal
meeting/brainstorm to discuss the way forward for the TC, and possible
alternatives (including re-chartering as an interest group section, as
suggested by Jamie Clarke of the OASIS staff in December). I’m sure several people would also use the opportunity
to do an update of recent and current work of interest to the eGov community:
for my part, it would involve giving an update on the “eGovernment Focus
group” that I chair for CEN, the European standards agency, and in
particular some its initial reflections on eGovernment resources-sharing, on
eIdentity, and on standards and interoperability. All the best, Peter ------------- Peter
