The OASIS Election and Voter Services TC has closed

The OASIS Election and Voter Services TC has closed. 

The TC produced Election Markup Language (EML) Specification Version 7.0 in 2011. EML has been used in production in a variety of jurisdictions.  Polling administered with EML include official elections in Belgium, Spain, Australia, the Philippines and several US states (California and Virginia). EML also is cited and used within the IEEE P1622 elections data specification. 

As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/election/. 

The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/election-services/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/election-services-comment/.
