Subject: [election-services] EML110 - the more you look....Another item of possible remediation. In looking at the EML 110 - I notice it does not include EMLcore - but it does have locally defined items that repeat the definitions in EMLcore. Obviously this is sub-optimal from the maintenance view.Specifically I was looking at PollingPlace and ReportingUnit - I'm sure there's more. This is quite a bit of xsd editing to fix up all that... : -(Anyway - the reason I strayed into all this was to look for something that records status and results of balloting on election day itself.I'm thinking we could add a structure of items <ResultsReported> to both pollingplace and reporting unit to track if results had been received, date/time of receipt, and status indicators and any associated notes/messages.<ResultsReported CurrentStatus="Pending"><Status DateTime="00/00/0000:00.00.00Z" Type="Opened"><ChannelID>10230-000-131131</ChannelID><Notes>Normal balloting opened on time</Notes></Status></ResultsReported>Then the 110 would contain the whole regional picture both before and after the election.
