Just a brief note for those who couldn't be at Ditton Manor over the past couple of days to say that we had a highly successful Interop Demo. Everything went very smoothly and we almost mimicked a real election with non-voters, spoilt ballots, the lot!

Based on this success we are now already on the case to run a similar event in the USA next Spring and I hope to be able to confirm details of that shortly. We will want to add more layers of sophistication next time but we can discuss and agree that over the coming weeks.

You should receive a notice from Mary Macrae of OASIS in next day or so announcing the OASIS membership vote for EML v5. Please take every opportunity to influence your voting rep and also call in all the favours from your friends, and competitors, to ensure that we get the required number of votes to achieve OASIS Standard status.
