Title: XML based Fed Component Registry
Pilot
Hi Everyone,
Here is the component registry info I mentioned in our meeting
this morning. This is taken directly from the agenda/schedule
for January 26th, White
House Conference Center, Emerging Components Second Quarterly
Conference
http://www.componenttechnology.org/Emerging/Jan262004Conference/
If you go to this page above, before it gets changed, you will
notice that Eliot's Geospatial Components project is the next listed,
but since he is flying to Geneva later that afternoon, his appearance
is likely to be scheduled for the next quarterly conference.
The url below takes
you to the registry page so you can see how emerging components can be
entered into the pilot registry.
...
3. Proof-of-concept
pilot for Stage 1 (Accepted)
Identification, of the
emerging technology life-cycle management process, Owen Ambur,
Co-Chair, Government XML Working Group and Member of the Emerging
Technology Subcommitee, other members of the team.
The ET Life-Cycle
Management Process; Town Hall Meeting at the XML 2003, December 9,
Philadelphia, PA
http://www.eccnet.com/ET-Register/
Please help us
populate the site with emerging technology components that you are
offering and/or would like to participate in developing and maturing.
Sam Hunting plans to develop a topic map facilitating access to the
submissions. Your input and feedback, at the town hall meeting or
otherwise, will help to enhance the value of the pilot.
Ciao,
Rex
