The Emergency Member SectionÂSteeringÂCommitteeÂhas appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year.Both TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote toÂÂemergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.orgÂbefore September 27.There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination.These at-large members provide for community-wideÂrepresentation in addition to theÂcommittee-specific representation on theÂSteeringÂCommittee.Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27.. ÂNOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27.You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email toÂsc-election@oasis-open.orgNominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to bothÂsc-election@oasis-open.orgÂandÂemergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.orgÂÂNominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.If there are more than three nominations (at large seats)Âvoting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot.ÂÂ Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automaticallyÂselected and will hold their seat for two years.
