Rex-
1. I will prepare some slides for the CIQ issue
2. I thought we were going to handle the URL/URI discussion in IF-SC?

Subject: [emergency-rim] Today's Proposed Agenda

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to give you all a heads up that there are two main topics that we need to address before we get back to the ValueListURN Use-Case Work-Through.

First, we need to understand the issues around developing Guidelines for Profiles of External Specifications, specifically using the CIQ proposal being worked by Don McGarry. There are any number of issues involved in this, but we should start as always by looking at Requirements and the larger buckets that external supporting specifications fall into:
Location (OASIS-Where Profile of GML); Contact Information (CIQ and possibly some others down the road, e.g. EHRs/PHRs for Emergency Patient Tracking); Temporal issues; etc.

Second, we need to look at the boundaries around the URN-URI Issue: Is it possible that we can define separate content/context-specific specifications for ValueListURN and ValueListURI?

If we get through that, we can return to our Use-Case.

Cheers,
Rex
