Subject: RE: [emergency-tep] Groups - EDXL-TEP Draft Meeting Notes- 09-05-2013 uploaded
Hi Patti, I think the normative reference should look like this… [token] N. Freed, XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes Second Edition, http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#token, W3C REC-xmlschema-2, October 2004. The definition for token is…”
The ·value space·
of token is the set of strings that do not contain the carriage return (#xD), line feed (#xA) nor tab (#x9) characters, that have no leading or trailing spaces (#x20) and that have no internal sequences of two or more spaces.” The implication is that if someone fills in a token field with … “something something
Some more stuff” The XML parser will change this to be “something something some more stuff” with no carriage return. Brian From: emergency-tep@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:emergency-tep@lists.oasis-open.org]
On Behalf Of Aymond, Patti Hey, guys. I was hoping to work though the comments and get them back to you on Friday, but I ended up being out sick Friday afternoon.
Editorial suggestions appreciated. On the discussion of comment # 1, we said that we would add clarification on the implication of the of xml:Token. I looked through
the normative references, and I don’t see where it is mentioned anywhere. Can someone provide me with the draft verbiage of what that should include? Bullets are fine. The only change to the specification, so far, has been the clarification on the definition on totalGCS. Patti Patti Iles Aymond, PhD 8550 United Plaza Blvd. Suite 501 From:
