Interoperability Conference

(IHIC 2015)

A Special Invitation to Our North American Colleagues

HL7 Czech Republic is proud to announce the 15th International HL7 Interoperability Conference (IHIC 2015) held 9th -11th February 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic. The IHIC 2015 is especially supported by HL7 Austria and HL7 Germany.

The IHIC is a forum for scientists and implementers to present and discuss concepts, models and implementations for innovative interoperable e-Health solutions. The conference also aims to play the role of an interface between science, research and real world in the health and social care domain. IHIC 2015 will also summarize the IHIC-related activities of the HL7 Affiliates for the years 2014 and 2015.

Call for papers:

  • We invite scientists to submit papers to be presented in the conference and be published in the conference proceedings. All papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Selected papers will be published in the special issue “Standards for International Cooperation” of the “European Journal of Biomedical Informatics”.
  • We invite implementers to submit short practice reports and experience summaries to be presented in the conference.

One highlight of the conference will be the announcement of the “Joachim W. Dudeck Award” for the best scientific paper of a young author (<35 y). This award is worth US$ 1000 donated by HL7 International, and completed by the “Joachim W. Dudeck Award” plaque traditionally donated by HL7 Germany.

All papers must be submitted by October 15, 2014 in order to qualify.

For detailed information on guidelines, topics,  about the call to papers, download the full PDF version of this call.
