Subject: Anyone know anything more about CDMA2000?

HI Folks,

I knew I didn't want to get out of bed this morning, but news from
yesterday's severe storms was worse than I thought it was going to
be. Then there was this morning's bus accident in Atlanta to remind
us how Situational Awareness of transportation system conditions can
impact responder services.

A reality check we could have lived without.

No use dwelling on it when we, at least, can do something about
responding to such. So, when I ran across the headline news brief
below, it reminded me of Carl's notice of the IETF work on PSAP-911,
and protecting IP-based networks from malicious attacks, so I was
wondering whether anyone knows of a similar exercise for these CDMA
cellphone systems aimed at use in emergency incidents?
