Fellow Ontolog-Forum members,

As part of the requirements we observe in OASIS (The Organization for 
the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) I am forwarding 
the announcement of the Public Review of the Emergency Data Exchange 
Language Resource Messaging  (EDXL-RM) 1.0 specification.  The 
specific requirement which this notice fulfills is the posting of the 
announcement on a publicly accessible mailing list.

This is, in fact, a logical extension of the activities which led to 
the Ontology Applications in Emergency Response panel discussion 
January 25, 2007

We in the OASIS Emergency Management Technical Committee welcome 
everyone to review this specification and use the OASIS TC Comment 
Facility (See URL below) to provide the benefit of your comments. The 
procedure in intended to surface any and all details which may have 
been included, excluded or formulated in a problematic way. This 
procedure is intended to provide public feedback so that the TC can 
address all submitted concerns about this specification as we prepare 
to advance the specification for OASIS-wide approval.
