Burn Beds

Burn ICU type beds associated with a burn care unit

2

Emergency Department Beds

Beds within the Emergency Department used for acute care

3

Floor Beds: Adult

General adult beds including all beds not specifically listed as another bed type. These do not include rehabilitation or long term care beds

4

Floor Beds: Pediatric

General pediatric beds including all beds not specifically listed as another bed type. These do not include rehabilitation or long term care beds

5

ICU Beds: Adult Cardiac

ICU beds reserved for cardiac patients. Often referred to as Coronary Care Unit

6

ICU Beds: Adult General

ICU beds for general adult needs not specifically listed as another ICU bed type

7

ICU Beds: Adult Neurosurgery

ICU beds specializing in neurosurgical care

8

ICU Beds: Adult Surgery

ICU beds specializing in adult surgical care

9

ICU Beds: Neonatal

ICU beds specializing in neonatal care

10

ICU Beds: Pediatric

ICU beds specializing in Pediatric care

11

Isolation Capable Beds

Total beds capable of negative airflow or respiratory isolation. These beds may be counted as other bed types as well

Nursery (All except Neonatal ICU)

Neonatal or newborn care beds including all bed types other than Neonatal ICU

Operating Room Beds

Beds or OR suites associated with the operating room

Psych Beds: Adult

Beds associated with an adult designated psychiatric unit

Psych Beds: Pediatric

Beds associated with a pediatric designated psychiatric unit

Rehabilitation/Long Term Beds

Beds designated as long term care rehabilitation. These do not include floor beds.

Neurology services with no invasive catheterization capability

Obstetrics and Gynecology services available 24 hours per day

Obstetrics: Labor and Delivery

Labor and Delivery services available 24 hours per day

Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology services available 24 hours per day

Orthopedics

Pediatrics
