I think the subcommittee needs to check with OASIS guidelines on  
publishing profiles.

All other specs/profiles I have seen in OASIS (and others) always  
create a new XML Namespace identifier.

I think there will be confusion if OASIS publishes two XML Schemas for  
the same XML Namespace.
