Subject: Final Call -- Sign-up now for the IAEM Emergency Management InterOp & Post Event Webinar...

OASIS EDXL Interop Demo

IAEM Annual Conference & EMEX 2010

November 1-3, 2010

Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel

San Antonio, Texas   USA

Interested Interop participants must sign up by 1 August 2010 – for both the onsite Interop & post-event Webinar.

OASIS will host an EDXL Interoperability Demonstration on the exhibit floor of the Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo (EMEX), held in conjunction with the annual conference of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Members of the OASIS Emergency Management (EM) Technical and Adoption Committees will showcase applications and tools that support the Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL) suite of standards.

Any organization or company interested in signing-up to participate should complete the online form by the 1 August deadline:

https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/2010_EM_interop_IAEM/register_contact.php

Booth Space

OASIS has reserved 20’x30’ space based on the level of interest received, as well as recommendations of the EM Events and Demo Sub-Committee.

Cost

A fee per participating company will be allocated to cover the costs associated with the show floor demonstration.

Interop participant fees include:

2600 USD per participating company

OASIS foundational- and sponsor-level members receive a 25% discount off the fee.  Foundational-level members are also welcome to use a Premium.  Please contact Carol Geyer (carol.geyer@oasis-open.org) for more details.

Each organization will receive all the benefits outlined below.  Space will be available for set-up and testing on Monday, 1 November.  The show will open for a special reception Monday evening.  A minimum number of six participants are required to ensure the floor space.

Again, Interop participants must register with OASIS by 1 August 2010.  This is a hard deadline, as costs associated with the show floor demonstration escalate after this date, as well as the Interop demo logistics require advance preparation.
