Subject: Europe INSPIRE Data Specification on Human Health and Safety – Guidelines
Thought
this might be of interest.
This document specifies a harmonised data specification for the spatial
data theme Human Health and
Safety as defined in Annex III of the INSPIRE Directive.
The theme “Human health and safety” (HH), as described in the INSPIRE
Directive, covers a wide
range of data on diseases and related health problems, as well as other
indications of health effects
that might be linked – directly or indirectly – with the quality of the
environment. Given that definition,
several components of the scope of the theme “Human health and safety” have
been identified,
including:
- Health statistical data on diseases, poisoning, injuries, etc., and data
on general health status
in a population, such as self-perceived health, people with health
problems, smokers, etc.
- Biomarkers
- Determinants of health
- Health care / services data – for example on services provided by
hospitals, health care
workforce, etc
- Safety
