It is that time again when we need to consider our EMTC and EMATC representation on the Emergency Member Section Steering Committee. Please see the note below from Cathie Mayo, OASIS Staff which identify the openings available. Give some thought to joining this group or nominating someone that is a Member Section member to do so (with their approval, of course😊 ). Those whose service are complete may be nominated for a following term. We also need to consider who will represent each of the TCs (EM and EMA). ÂÂ
Feel free to reply here with any discussion. This will be an agenda item on our EMTC call Tues Sept 18 and the EMATC call Tues Sept 25.

Greetings
The Emergency Member Section Steering Committee has appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year.
Both TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote to sc-election@oasis-open.org
before September 27.
There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination.These at-large members provide for community-wide
representation in addition to the committee-specific representation on the Steering Committee.
Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27..
NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27.
You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email to sc-election@oasis-open.org
Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to both sc-election@oasis-open.org and emergency-ms@lists.oasis-open.org
Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.
If there are more than three nominations (at large seats) and/or two nominations per TC seat,
voting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot. Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automatically
selected and will hold their seat for two years and TC representatives will hold their seats for one year.
