Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (EMIX-402) Improve Clarity inexample illustration (cloned)
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/EMIX-402?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=25783#action_25783 ] David Holmberg commented on EMIX-402: -------------------------------------- Found it: Here are the 3 sentences currently: 1. Power source defines product to market (Sequence and Gluon 1). 2. Product is offered to market on a particular day ([1] and Gluon 2) (Date but not time, required price specified) 3. Transaction specifies start time (9:00) and duration (6:30) (Gluon 3), inherited by Sequence through Gluons 2 and 1. Interval B (linked to Gluon 1) is the interval that starts at 9:00. I would revise the figure to address notes above, get rid of "(prices)" in Gluon 2 label. I would rewrite the sentences: 1. The generator defines product to market (as represented in the Generation Sequence and in Gluon 1). 2. The Product is offered to market on a particular day (Gluon 2) at a specified price. 3. Transaction Schedule (Gluon 3) specifies start time (9:00) and duration (6:30), inherited by Sequence through Gluons 2 and 1. Interval B (linked to Gluon 1) is the interval that starts at 9:00, as shown by the red arrow which represents the schema relationship. 4. Note: Interval A might represent the ramp up period, with Interval B as the start time for the delivery period, and Interval C as the ramp down. Hope that helps > Improve Clarity in example illustration (cloned) > ------------------------------------------------ > > Key: EMIX-402 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/EMIX-402 > Project: OASIS Energy Market Information Exchange (eMIX) TC > Issue Type: Improvement > Environment: Paul Knight > Reporter: Toby Considine > Assignee: William Cox > > 524 clarity In interval B, meaning of "50 / MWh" is not clear. Are there units to "50"? Is it $50 / MWh? or 50 MWh? In interval C, what is 1.5 / MWh? Why is this representation different from Interval A? -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
