Subject: Re: [emix] Groups - Proposed Approach to Schema Type Documentation.pdfuploaded
Anything that reduces the duplication and clarifies the inheritance has my vote! Great proposal. Speaking of duplicated table elements, one is UID. I just looked through all the PRD02 schema, though, and couldn't find it. In PRD01 it was in emix.xsd as a string in the base emix type. It's not in PRD02. ? -A toby.considine@unc.edu wrote, On 6/3/2011 7:39 AM: > The document named Proposed Approach to Schema Type Documentation.pdf has > been submitted by Toby Considine to the OASIS Energy Market Information > Exchange (eMIX) TC document repository. > > Document Description: > The documentation of elements in PR02 does not properly reflect the > approach to inheritance taken by the TC, and so ends up duplicating > defintions, including possibly forking or redfining elements. > > This document illustrates an approach to documentation of the schemas in > the specification that could reduce duplication while more accurately > reflecting the underlying structure. > > Please look at this quickly, and send a thumbs up or thumbs down, perhaps > with a qualification (would be better if....) to the list.
