Subject: [entity-resolution] [Fwd: Press Release on XML Catalogs]

Hi All,

I poked around and couldn't find any official-sounding comments or news
items on XML catalogs, but did find a tutorial[1] and video[2] on the
Stylus Studio site.

I also found a recent (May 2005) article on the IBM developerworks site[3]
entitled "Managing XML data: XML catalogs".

Also, on October 5th James Tauber blogged[4] the move to from spec to
standard, stating that "XML Catalogs are near and dear to my heart...".

There's another very informal blog[5] titled "Check your XML
catalogs ...." wherein the author is gripes about XIncludes being slow
in the CMS he's setting up and that "The solution is: Use catalogs...".

Not sure that any of these can provide appropriate fodder for an OASIS press
release, but thought I'd post them, nonetheless.

Not exactly what we need, but there is some visibility out there...

Cheers,
Mark
