May I respectfully request that our meetings are conducted within the allocated 60 minute timeframe. If necessary, a timekeeper should be assigned to ensure discussions keep to time. In addition, OASIS rules allow for member participation and discussion of issues using electronic means (e.g. email) between meetings, where this is appropriate. This might help to keep our conference call meetings more focussed. For those on UK or Central European time zones, it is difficult to remain engaged with the conference call discussions if they continue beyond 6pm / 7 pm respectively. Kind regards, Eldin.
