Subject: Draft spec, release notes available for review online at Oasis

As a reminder, the DRAFT Spec and RDF/XML code is available for review on Oasis.  As stated in past meetings, this has been available for 3 weeks.  In order to get the draft spec released as a Public Review Draft, we need your final comments by noon Pacific Thursday so they can be reviewed by the editorial team prior to our Friday June 13 9am TC meeting.

Additionally, I have posted draft Release Notes that describe what we are releasing.  This is a simple 1 page document with the disclaimer that this is draft only for public comment, along with instructions on how to get involved and contribute comments and feedback.  Please take a quick look this new (optional) item by our Friday 13 June meeting:

The DIA global conference next week provides a significant opportunity for us to raise awareness about the Oasis eTMF Standard work, and to solicit public comment and feedback for a period of at least a month.  The most important effort for our group now is to get public comment and feedback and then to integrate the feedback into our standard.  This is also a requirement of the TC charter.  Announcing the availability of the draft spec is critically important at Friday's TC meeting.

Chet Ensign of Oasis has reviewed the draft spec and has given us a green light to release it for public review.  He will be joining our meeting on Friday to answer any questions about the process of getting our Draft spec out to public review.   He has also offered a motion for us to use for the approval of our work for release (see below).

Draft motion for June 13 TC meeting:
"I move that the TC approve [Working Draft title & version number] and all associated artifacts packaged together inhttps://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/<kavi document number> as a Committee Specification Draft  and designate the [format] version of the document as authoritative. I further move that the approved Committee Specification Draft be released for 30 day public review."

Thanks everyone for all of your hard work - the extra effort this week will help us to stay on track with the charter and will ultimately help us to get a better product out.
