Workgroup meetings 8/14 & 15

All,

On behalf of your TC Chairs, Zack and Jennifer, thank you to all who participated in the first round of comment review. Both the Specification workgroup and Metadata workgroup have scheduled additional sessions to review comments and suggest resolutions for the TC to vote on. Login instructions for each meeting follow and are also posted in OASIS eTMF TC calendar.

The metadata workgroup agreed each participant would lead discussion on an assigned set of comments. To ensure you receive an assignment, members (not observers) who plan on participating on the metadata workgroup should email jalpert@carelex.org if you are not listed here: Michael Agard, Jennifer Alpert, Sharon Ames, Sharon Elcombe, Fran Ross, Cathy Schmidt, and Zack Schmidt.

While comment review can feel tedious, it is a necessary process and I thank all of you for your dedication. The end result will be all the better for our efforts!

At the 8/18 TC meeting, we will begin discussion and voting on proposed comment resolutions. While the adhoc workgroup meetings won’t count toward attendance, the 8/18 TC meeting (as with all TC meetings) does count toward attendance/voting rights.
