Subject: RE: [icom] Agenda for ICOM TC Meeting on November 25, 9:00 - 10:00 AM PST
Hi, When I was looking through the models
in detail for the ECOSPACE newsletter, the following issues arose: 1.
·
A Scope has Groups ·
A Community is a Scope ·
Therefore a Community has Groups ·
A Community has members ·
How do members relate to Groups? 2.
What is the difference between a Parental and a Container?
Is Parental redundant? 3.
Why is a HeterogeneousFolder included in the
High-Level Concepts diagram? Why not then include AddressBook, Calendar, etc.? 4.
“At the design time there are two possible
choices for the type of the owner attribute for Entity, namely: Subject;
Actor. ” è But
an Actor is a Subject, no? 5.
Should there be a direct link between an Entity
and an Actor, createdBy and modifiedBy 6.
Should we abolish use of interfaces at this
level, only have concepts? 7.
In the use case in Figure 5, it shows a
Role assigned to a Group. How is this modeled in our High-Level Concepts
diagram Maybe we could discuss them at
the meeting today. Regards, Deirdre ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Deirdre Lee DERI IDA BusinessPark, Lower Dangan, Galway, Ireland deirdre.lee@deri.org ----------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Eric Chan
