2.    Review and schedule ballot for CSPRD02, RDF ontology, and UML annotated Java classes

 

POJO classes (source for UML model) are ready. Laura is refining the RDF model. The feedbacks will lead to refinement of UML model and specification.

 

3.    Discuss formal declaration of namespace URI’s in RDF and JAXB (see addendum below)

 

Work in continuing with namespace unification to remove circular dependency of ontology modules. ICOM RDF will not include some auxiliary classes, such as Identifiable. This concept can be mapped to rdf:Resource which has a URI.  

 

Some concepts such as Property, EntityAddress, etc., should not be assigned URI’s. They should be modeled as anonymous nodes in RDF graph.

 

Not all rdf:Resource will support ACL. There are concepts like FreeBusy, Presence, ConferenceSession which should not support ACL. Hence they are ordinary rdf:Resource that are not defined as Entity.

 

Eric will rename ResourceActor to icom:Resource (instead of renaming icom:User to icom:PersonActor).
