Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (IMI-20) Unclear text on end of STSchain
Unclear text on end of STS chain -------------------------------- Key: IMI-20 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/IMI-20 Project: OASIS Identity Metasystem Interoperability (IMI) TC Issue Type: Bug Reporter: Marc Goodner Assignee: Marc Goodner From public comment: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/imi-comment/200904/msg00001.html Section 2.3 is much less clear then the rest of the document. lines 383-385 say: When following a chain of STSs, when an STS with an ic:RequireFederatedIdentityProvisioning declaration is encountered as per Section 3.2.1, this informs the Identity Selector that the STS is an IP/STS, rather than a member of the RP/STS chain. It is not clear what this means or what its significance is. If the intent is that the IP/STS marks the end of the chain, why not say so? -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
