Subject: Discover Versions Clarification
4.26 of the spec (1.2 wd07) says: "The response payload contains a list of protocol versions that is supported by the server." It is not stated whether the response payload can include versions greater than the version in the client's request header (no protocol versions listed in the request payload). For example, if a client sends a Discover Versions request and the request header indicates protocol 1.1, to a server that supports 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0, should the server respond with the list: 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0, or just 1.1 and 1.0? (It is clear that the response header should indicate version 1.1 - to match the request header).
