Subject: RE: [legalxml-courtfiling] Re: Budget Requests for the ECF TC
Eric, While I’m all in favor of outreach, I don’t think sponsoring a reception
would be a good use of the TC’s limited resources. I would rather see the
money spent on: -
Conference presentations -
Supporting the development of demonstrations/implementations (to
any extent permitted by OASIS) -
TA (as needed) Jim Cabral Helping

;) Jim, Jim, Ron, Robin, George and others: What should we be
spending money on next year? I'd like to be able to at least report some
conversation underway at the SC call in 1.5 hours. I had the thought that sponsoring some kind of show-and-tell
reception might raise more awareness than covering travel for folks who likely
would have come anyway. Good idea? Thanks, Eric On Mon, Nov 16, 2009 at 11:45 AM, Eric Dimick Eastman <erice@doxpop.com> wrote: Hello all, I meant to get this out last week and just didn't get to it.
We have a steering committee call this coming Wednesday and need to
present our budget requests for 2010. We got through our conference call
last week without a concrete proposal. I'm including the items below as a conversation starter. $5,100 TA carried over from 2009 (existing? contract) $6,800 TA for 2010 $5,000 Host an event at eCourts in September I don't want to be at all wasteful, but OASIS will look more
kindly on a budget for the whole MS (including eNotary) of about $30K - $35K.
What ideas do people have to advance the goals of the TC. Eric
