Committee Members,
 
We are almost there! Below you will find
the link to NIEM 3.0 Release Candidate 2; the final version of 3.0 before
we deploy the operational release. The NIEM PMO is requesting your support
for one final model review. We are asking only those that provided
feedback on RC1 to participate in the RC2 review process. The link HERE
will direct you to the RC2 package. The package contains the following
filesto help you validate that your feedback has been successfully implemented:

        3.0
Schemas
·
        Standard
Model Review Spreadsheet: This is the spreadsheet used for past
reviews. It contains NIEM Core and a tab for each domain. This review cycle,
NIEM Core has not been partitioned. 
·
        New
Spreadsheet Denoting Changes: This workbook addresses only components
that changedfrom RC1 to RC2, but does not indicate the specifics of the
change. In this new spreadsheet you will find a “Read Me” tab with instructions,
and tabs for Property, Type, Type Contains Property, Facet, Namespace,
and Glossary. In each tab, the rows marked as "Added", "Updated",
and "Removed" show what has changed since RC1. You may filter
on the namespace column for content relevant to your specific domain.
 
If you provided recommended edits to RC1,
we ask that you:
1.
      Confirm that
you can take action: Please email me that you will be participating
in the RC2 review, this helps us know who is still working during the shutdown.
For those not in the office and unable to confirm proposed edits, the NIEM
PMO will verify that your comments have been addressed.
2.
      Validate that
your requests have been addressed in RC2: Please take this action and
email me your approval by 11 AM Eastern on Wednesday, October 16.
3.
      Submit additional
requests to NCCT (if necessary): If you have additional feedback beyond
RC1 edits, you may submit your comments to NCCT.
 
If you do not recall the details of your
RC1 commentsor have any additional questions regarding this review process,
please let me know.
