Preparations for Face-to-Face

ECF TC:

 

I look forward to seeing everyone at our face-to-face meeting in Salt Lake next week 9/14-15.  I appreciate all the hard review work, feedback and discussion we’ve had getting the ECF 5.0 specification ready.  I’m hopeful we can schedule finish the internal review and vote at the face-to-face to publish it for public review.

 

I will be publishing the final Working Draft before the meeting shortly.  If you haven’t spend some quality time reviewing the specification and generating some sample messages, now is definitely the time.

 

There are a number outstanding issues to discuss left from Gary Graham’s feedback that I will add to the meeting agenda.  To participate in the discussion, please review the associated action items prior to the meeting.

• #5 – Cancel Filing Message
  • All ECF members should consider whether NotifyFilingReviewCompleteMessage is a sufficient response to CancelFlingMessage.

• #7 – Corrected Payment Message
  • We agreed to allow multiple Payment Messages. All ECF members should consider whether we need to add guidance to the specification on how to handle multiple payment messages.

• #3 –  More specific rules for CorrectedCase
  • All ECF members should review the docket.xml to decide whether we need additional normative guidance on the use of docket:CorrectedCase.
