Dear Colleagues,

After much scheduling and coordination, we have set the date for the
first formal OASIS/LegalXML e-Contracts TC concall for:

Wednesday, November 13th at 5 PM Eastern Time (New York City).

I have copied the individual e-mail addresses of people who have
indicated an interest in this TC in the past as well as to the TC
list, to be sure that all interested persons receive it.  I apologize
if some of you get this posting twice.  If anyone knows of other
people with an interest in this standards setting effort, please
forward the formal announcement that will be sent shortly by Karl Best
of OASIS and/or have them get in touch with me directly.  Please
include LegalXML e-Contracts in the header of e-mails on this topic to
me.

The e-mails on our list will begin to be more frequent in the coming
weeks and months.  To manage the influx, I suggest setting up a new
e-mail folder and a filter to automatically deliver these posts to
that folder.

To get the conversation started, subscribed members will soon see on
the TC list a posting from me and the two Vice Chairs of the TC, Eddie
O'Brien and Jason Harrop, regarding the scope and deliverables in our
Charter.  Your responses to that posting will help us to assure the
work of the TC is relevant and effective.
