Subject: Use case template - draft use case for negotiated contract documents
Hi folks, I attach a rather long use case I prepared with the template sent on Friday. I regret that this document is very much longer than I envisaged. I put it forward because I think it raises a lot of issues we need to resolve in our requirements process. Hopefully it will help us refine the use case template. There are a couple of approaches we could take to preparation of the use cases. One approach would be to encourage as many as people want to contribute. Another would be to avoid duplication by creating a few only and opening them up to contributions to others. I am inclined to the second approach. In that spirit, I invite anyone to contribute to my draft with both alternative or supporting points. There are many areas where my use case may be controversial. I could well be wrong on a number of points. If the use cases allow us to identify the key situations we need to consider in our work and reach a common understanding of how relevant transactions are undertaken, they will help us to move forward. I look forward to receiving comments on the draft use case template send on Friday and on this draft use case. regards Peter --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elkera Pty Limited (ACN 092 447 428) - Knowledge management Email: pmeyer@elkera.com.au Ph: +61 2 8440 6900 * Fax: +61 2 8440 6988 http://www.elkera.com.au
