           Minutes, Teleconference of July 20th 2006
       The OASIS Legal XML Member Section e-Contracts Technical Committee

The meeting came to order at 18:08 Eastern Standard Time.  At 18:10
the Technical Committee went into closed-session to discuss the candidates
for the Technical Writer position as one member of this Technical Committee
had submitted an application for that opportunity.

At 18:30, the committee determined that it had two strong candidates.  The
decision would be clearer if one was strong and one was weak.  They would
request a writing sample from both candidates.

They also discussed birefly  proposal submitted by the member of the TC,
on behalf of their employer, with that member.  This included the bonus schedule
in their proposal based upon meeting certain dates as well as the
time frame on that proposal.
The TC will seek a "time frame" fromt the other candidate.  
Mr. Greenwood anticipates sending an
electronic mail to both candidates requesting the writing sample
and setting a deadline for the close of business Monday July 24th.

The committee then dicussed what items are needed for the technical
writer.  One "technical glitch" in schema was brought to Mr. Meyer's
attention.  Mr. Meyer's group will also simplify the file structure of the 
schema and add more commentary to the schemas.

The next meeting is set for Friday July 28th at 18:00 Eastern Time.
