Subject: eContracts Committee Draft

Hello Dr. Leff and TC members,

Thanks for the great work on this specification! As someone involved in the
early stages of development, it's great to see the result.

There's a few things that need to be resolved before I can submit this
specification for Public Review - all related to adherence to OASIS style and
requisite metadata/naming conventions. There's also some information in comments
in the XML that should either be uncommented or deleted from the file.

If you look at the recently-approved UBL 2.0 OASIS Standard, you'll see a
specification that uses DocBook Article, coupled with a set of stylesheets that
conforms to the OASIS style. The XML file can be found here:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/os-UBL-2.0/UBL-2.0.xml

The stylesheets, etc. can be found here:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/templates/DocBook/spec-0.4/template/wd-spectools-docb
ook-template-0.4.html
http://docs.oasis-open.org/templates/DocBook/spec-0.4/oasis-specification-0.4.ht
ml

I'm sure Ken Holman will be happy to assist if you have any difficulties.

As far as URIs and filenames, you can find the filename requirements here:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/specGuidelines/namingGuidelines/resourceNaming.html

  and the metadata requirements here:
http://docs.oasis-open.org/specGuidelines/namingGuidelines/metadata.html
The official stage for this document is Committee Draft 01

The home directory for eContracts is: docs.oasis-open.org/legalxml-econtracts/

Regards,

Mary
