ABA eTrust subcommittee minutes of meeting of March 16, 2004

2. Approval of minutes. The minutes of February 17, 2004 were approved by acclamation.

3. Relations with eNotary TC.

John Messing explained the relationship between the two groups.

4. Mission Statement and goals

A discussion centered on Richard Hansberger's draft proposal that was sent to the list. A final or near-final revision is an attachment to these draft minutes. Track changes was invoked in MS word to show what changes were proposed during the call. Members will review and suggest any further changes, after which an email vote will be called on the question.

5. Proposed "straw man" draft article or symposium - Ben Snipes

The ABA servers were too slow to distribute the draft prior to the meeting and so this item is put off until the next meeting.
