I just wanted to let you all know that I have been selected to be NIEM public website content manager.  I will assist the executive staff with providing web site vision and guidance to improve the educational and outreach to the public. I will be joining the NIEM Project Management staff.

Cathy likened it to placing the Fox into the hen house.  I hope I can add a new perspective to the way DHS and DOJ communicate with the work on what I feel is a very important work.

As all my work related to the standards, there is no pay and a lot of glory (or infamy).  I want to make sure that we can educate and stimulate participation from all sectors of the public including general, practitioners and industry.  Please feel free to give any suggestions on what you would like to see on the web site now and in the future.  Your input is highly respected and needed.

Please, John or Ellen, would you forward this on to the full membership of the TC.  The more input I get the better.
