Subject: LegalXML SC Nomination acceptance

I respectfully accept Mr. Jim Harris’ nomination and the role and responsibilities associated with the Steering Committee.

By way of introduction, I have been with the Arizona Supreme Court since 2007 and am the Program Director for the Judiciary’s statewide electronic filing initiative.  A critical element of this initiative is promoting the adoption of the OASIS LegalXML ECF specification, as well as extending it to meet Arizona’s ever-evolving business needs.  Prior to joining the Court, I served the Navajo Nation, State of Arizona Executive Branch, and Maricopa County in various capacities ranging from business analyst and software developer to director of telecommunications and Information Technology.  I am a native Arizonan who earned dual bachelor of science degrees in Management Information Systems and Operations Management from the University of Arizona, and a master’s degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.

Thank you for your consideration,

Jim Price
