Please welcome our new Member Services Manager - Scott McGrath

Dear OASIS Members and XML.org Sponsoring Organizations,

Please join me in welcoming the newest member of the OASIS team, Scott McGrath, who will serve as Member Service 
Manager. In this position, Scott will have responsibility for member satisfaction, activity coordination and 
communication. Serving as the primary point of contact for Consortium members, Scott will ensure an accurate and timely 
response to member requests, and will develop and direct projects related to OASIS' member activities.

Scott brings to OASIS more than 10 years experience developing the customer service systems and staff in the US, most 
recently with the world's 2nd largest member organization, the American Automobile Association. As senior liaison 
between members, all AAA business units and suppliers/contractors, Scott served as ombudsman, mediator and conflict 
resolution expert, supervised  mediation and quality measurement staff, executive service call center, and 
correspondence staff and developed quality tracking, measurement, reporting/organizational learning systems.

Scott also brings a wealth of experience in developing database-driven business systems and service quality 
assessment/management systems. Further, he has more than six years' experience in supporting tradeshows, conferences 
and events and has served as a senior industry liaison.

Scott starts today, and will be operating out of both his home office and the new OASIS offices until 1 January 2000,
