Subject: CORRECTION: OASIS: Balloting Opens Today for Board of Directors'Election
The link to the ballot is available at www.oasis-open.org/nominations/ballot.shtml. Also, please forgive my misspelling of "ballotting" -- it has now been corrected! Dear OASIS Members, The balloting period for the upcoming OASIS Board of Directors election opens today. Now through 29 June, you may cast your votes via the online balloting system, which is available at www.oasis-open.org/nominations/ballot.shtml. A link to the ballot is also available from the home page). Ballots may also be submitted via email, fax or post (details appear below). OASIS organizational members in good standing as of 31 May 2001 may vote. Details of the voting process are available at http://www.oasis-open.org/who/bod_elections.shtml. We have a total of 14 excellent nominees. (In a previous message I stated that there were 13 nominees; due to technical problems, one of the nomination packages was overlooked until last week. We have verified that this final candidate did indeed submit nominations materials by the deadline.) A complete list of nominees with links to their profiles is available at http://www.oasis-open.org/nominations/. Please review the nomination materials; as there are far more nominees than openings, every vote will count.
