Presenters include representatives from the European Commission, EAN Spain, STAR, Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance, and UN/CEFACT, as well as Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, IONA, Cyclone Commerce, Sterling Commerce, XML Global, and others. On 1 May, the opening of nominations for the OASIS Board of Directors was announced. OASIS is governed by a democratic member-elected Board of Directors. The following four people received the highest number of votes and will be filling the four member-elected seats for the TAB: - Derek Coleman (HP) - Eduardo Gutentag (Sun) - Jackson He (Intel) - Krishna Sankar (Cisco) The OASIS Board of Directors will select additional people to fill the remaining seats (four at large, one Board member, and one OASIS staff member). http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/members/200205/msg00002.html ----- ebXML ----- ebXML Adoption in Asia Speeds up Asian countries are gearing themselves up for the adoption of ebXML.
