[OASIS members] Press Release to Announce ebXML CPPA As OASIS OpenStandard

OASIS Members:

The Consortium is in the process of drafting a press release to announce
ebXML CPPA as an OASIS Open Standard. We have targeted Thursday, 21
November, for distribution.

While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, we have a policy to list only Sponsor member companies
in announcements directed to the press. The higher Sponsor member dues
underwrite the cost of promotional activities such as press releases.
All OASIS ebXML CPPA TC members--Sponsors, Contributors, and
Individuals--will be listed in OASIS member communications and on the
OASIS web site.

The "ebXML CPPA Becomes OASIS Open Standard" press release, therefore,
will include the following statement:

"ebXML CPPA was developed by Commerce One, Cyclone Commerce, E2open,
Hewlett-Packard Company, IBM, Intel, IONA, Mercator, SAP, SeeBeyond,
Sterling Commerce, Sun Microsystems, Sybase, Tibco, Vitria, webMethods,
and other members of the OASIS ebXML Collaboration Protocol Profile and
Agreement Technical Committee."

If you represent a company listed above, please notify me only if you do
NOT wish to have your company name featured. If you would like to send a
quote on behalf of your company in support of ebXML CPPA, please email
that to me, including a name and title at your company to whom the quote
can be attributed.

If you are a Sponsor member, but not active in the TC, and you would
like to submit a company quote in support of ebXML CPPA as an OASIS Open
Standard, please email your quote to me, including a name and title at
your company to whom the quote can be attributed.

If your company was represented on the OASIS ebXML CPPA TC but is not a
Sponsor member and you would like to be featured in the press release,
please contact Scott McGrath (scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org) immediately
for information on upgrading your membership to take advantage of this
promotional benefit.
