and activities for the XML interoperability consortium.

OASIS and UN/CEFACT to Host ebXML Showcase at XML Europe 2003 in London

XML Europe 2003 will feature a special event, 5-6 May, to highlight the
growing use of ebXML and its role in Web services. The ebXML Showcase
will answer real-life questions on adopting standards for exchanging
business messages, establishing trading relationships, communicating
data in common terms and defining and registering business processes.
Attendees will also hear about the business benefits of managing
electronic commerce through ebXML from existing end users and software
suppliers. Keynote presentations from Paul Murphy of the European
Commission, Patrick Gannon of OASIS, and Ray Walker of the UN/CEFACT
Steering Group will be featured. The program will also include updates
from ebXML users in the telecommunications, shipping, publishing,
manufacturing, and e-commerce industries. Representatives of the United
Nations, Fujitsu, NIST, SeeBeyond, Sun Microsystems, and others will
present.

XSLT Conformance Prototype Test Suite Available

The XSLT Conformance TC has created a Prototype Test Suite
(xslt-prototypetestsuite-01.zip) which includes 150 XSLT tests.
Feedback from the OASIS community on the prototype regarding its
structure, content and general usefulness for evaluating XSLT processors
would be greatly appreciated.
