Correction: After reviewing a current list of OASIS UDDI Spec TC members
and consulting with the TC co-chairs, the press release will include the
following statement:


Members of the OASIS UDDI Specification Technical Committee include
Computer Associates, Fujitsu, IBM, IONA, Microsoft, Novell, OpenNetwork,
Oracle, SAP, SeeBeyond, Sun Microsystems, Tata Consultancy Services, and
others.


Please contact me directly if you feel your company has been incorrectly
included or omitted from this list.

OASIS Members:

The Consortium is in the process of drafting a press release to announce
UDDI v2 as an OASIS Open Standard. We have targeted Tuesday, 20 May, for
distribution.

While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, we have a policy to list only Sponsor member companies
in announcements directed to the press. The higher Sponsor member dues
underwrite the cost of promotional activities such as press releases.

The "UDDI Becomes OASIS Open Standard" press release, therefore, will
include the following statement:

"Members of the OASIS UDDI Specification Technical Committee include BEA
Systems, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard Company, IBM, Intel, Microsoft,
Oracle, SAP, Sun Microsystems, Verisign, webMethods, and others."

If you represent a company listed above, please notify me only if you do
NOT wish to have your company name featured. If you would like to send a
quote on behalf of your company in support of UDDI, please email that to
me, including a name and title at your company to whom the quote can be
attributed.

If you are a Sponsor member of OASIS, but not active in this TC, and you
would like to submit a company quote in support of UDDI becoming an
OASIS Open Standard, please email your quote to me, including a name and
title at your company to whom the quote can be attributed.

If your company is not a Sponsor member of OASIS, and you would like to
submit a quote for this press release, please contact Scott McGrath
(scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org) immediately for information on upgrading
your membership to take advantage of this promotional benefit.
