Press Release to Announce OASIS MML TC

OASIS Members:

**Deadline for Sponsor quotes: 15 July**

The Consortium is in the process of drafting a press release to announce
the new OASIS Materials Markup Language Technical Committee (MML TC). We
have targeted Thursday, 17 July, for distribution.

While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, we have a policy to list only Sponsor member companies
in announcements directed to the press. The higher Sponsor member dues
underwrite the cost of promotional activities such as press releases.
All OASIS MML TC members--Sponsors, Contributors, and Individuals--will
be listed in OASIS member communications and on the OASIS web site.

The OASIS MML TC press release, therefore, will include the following
statement:

"OASIS Materials Markup Language Technical Committee members include
Boeing,
NIST, <INSERT NAMES OF OTHER SPONSOR MEMBERS WHO JOIN TC BEFORE
15 July> and others."

If you represent an OASIS Sponsor organization that isn't listed above,
but you plan to join this TC and would like to be included in the press
release, please notify me.

TC members at the Sponsor level that would like to send a quote on
behalf of their organization in support of this new TC may email that to
me. Please include a name and title at your company to whom the quote
can be attributed.

If your organization is not a Sponsor member, and you would like to be
featured as a major participant in the OASIS MML TC press release,
please contact Scott McGrath (scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org) for
information on upgrading your membership to take advantage of this
promotional benefit.
