OASIS SYMPOSIUM - DEADLINES APPROACHING

REGISTRATION - EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT DEADLINE - 1 APRIL

Registrations are increasing daily, so please don't delay. The
early-bird discount ends 1 APRIL - THIS FRIDAY. The meeting fee includes
access to all Symposium sessions, luncheons, coffee breaks, receptions,
and associated materials. In addition, the meeting fee includes access
to the Pre-Symposium Tutorials. Signup is required to attend the
tutorials and space is limited.  Additional registration information and

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE - 1 APRIL

The deadline for securing the OASIS group rate is 1 APRIL. The Symposium
coincides with the popular New Orleans Jazz Festival again this year, so
space and rates will be an issue. The rooms will be released to the
general public after 1 APRIL, and the group rate will no longer be

SYMPOSIUM BOOK TABLE - 1 APRIL

The Symposium Book Table will showcase the growing body of books that
feature technical and executive-level information on OASIS Standards and
specifications.  This is not a book sale, but an opportunity to give
attendees a first-hand look at the range of available titles. A handout
listing all books, including information on purchasing options, will be
provided. Books will be on display for two days during the Symposium
and raffled off to attendees at the reception following the AGM.
Authors, publishers, or collectors interested in donating books
should contact jane.harnad@oasis-open.org by 1 APRIL.

BIRDS-OF-A-FEATHER SESSIONS - SIGNUP TO POST YOUR TOPIC IN ADVANCE

Birds-of-a-Feather (BoFs) sessions will be held during the Symposium
luncheons (Monday and Tuesday) and on Monday evening. Luncheon
BoF sign-ups will be provided each day in the registration area.
Specifically on Tuesday during the luncheon, OASIS Board of Directors
and TAB members will be available to lead table discussion groups. If
you are interesting in submitting a topic in advance for the Tuesday
luncheon, please include that topic on your registration form
(http://www.oasis-open.org/events/symposium_2005/registration.php) or
forward it directly to member-services@oasis-open.org. 

We are encouraging feedback on issues relating to the Symposium and/or
the OASIS organization during this Tuesday luncheon. Evening BoF
sign-ups will be held on Monday only in the registration area. If you
are interested in hosting an evening BoF, please submit your request to
an OASIS staff member in the registration area. A final list of Monday
evening BoFs will be posted during the afternoon Symposium break.
